During the last two years we experienced an exceptional phenomenon: the isolation of thousands and thousands of artists all over the world. In my personal case, to avoid the fear, I concentrated on playing the electric piano in my room, during the months when going out into the street was prohibited in Buenos Aires. When the pandemic fervor began to fade, I scheduled two record sessions in Sam’s studio. I tried to do what I had been doing in my room – improvise and let other musics (and musics of others) simply appear in the improvisation. I let that recorded material rest for some time, and then (when I almost forgot about it) I started to work with it, trying to condense that experience into something like an instant of the present. This is my effort to converge memories from the past with visions of the future in a small particle of time called music.
